Gearing up to watch Wipeout tonight. I am almost afraid of what i will be doing in the show. You guys have no idea how silly we get down on the field. Me, my producer and hair and makeup … we cut up all the time. I just forget that there is a camera and mic on me. However, I must say….. my dancing skills are phenomenal . Don’t hate….

Nothing really special to talk about in particular. I just wanted to update the site a bit. I will let ya in on a little secret , I’ve decided to get a trainer. Yep…..I’m finding it a little harder to get to the gym on my own here lately. I hate the idea of paying someone to yell “Only 100 more sit-ups”. UUUGHHHH…. However, I am going to get myself back to where I need to be. Also started drinking this strange protein powder drink. It’s actually not all that bad…. i just hope it works. Anyone ever heard of “Pro 5″?
I heard about the “He-Man” movie coming up and I’m hoping for a “She-Ra” movie….. how great would that be!!! I think i still have my cape and mask! Of course i have to work on getting Pilot to act like “Swift-Wind”………..

Just sitting here at my computer trying to think of something to write about and i have been at a loss. I decided to write a list, a list of things i love and things i don’t……… here goes

Loves
wind, 80’s rock guitar solos, sitting in the shower, the color purple, realizing that i am more and more like my father each and every day, dreaming i can fly, lucky charms, the song i am listening to right now(don’t know the name or artist) , coloring out of the lines, purple tulips, high heels, paintings that contain words, flat pillows, blue jeans, white t shirts, blue diamond wasabi and soy sauce almonds, Pilot(my angry dog), my brothers laugh,owls, the smell of my house in NC, watching the little fluffy seeds float around in my grandmas garden at dusk,my grandmothers cooking, rain, life………….

Don’t Loves

sirens, strobe lights, techno music, non sweet tea, no paper towels, answering machines, bills, sleeplessness, dirty windows, fights ,overpriced food, low computers, dropping calls,mold, weeds, mean people, burnt out light bulbs, pants that are too short, gossip mags, people that litter…..

Cleaning
calling my dad to check in
drinking more water
going to the gym…. uggggghhhhh
going outside to help the homeless guy who is pushing his cart through my neighborhood to collect bottles out of my trash
give pilot a bath, and laugh at how he looks like a wet rat
water my dying plants
call my grandma and tell her i love her with all of my heart
download paramores new cd into my computer
pick out an outfit to wear to pitch my show today…… not just jeans and a T as usual

pet peeve

I am just ranting in this one. My biggest pet peeve is when i wash my hands and there are no paper towels left, even worse…. no toilet paper!! . Do you hate when the person in front of you at the checkout line uses 152 coupons and the cashier wants to talk about how great each one is… (never happened to me). Or what about drivers who feel that the carpool lane is some kind of a new “passing” lane . Isn’t it great when you are waiting for a pedestrian to cross the street and they walk like they have suction cups instead of legs. Another one of my big ones is when my cell drops my call and i go to call the person back and i get their voicemail for 10 min because they refuse to stop calling me back at the same time. The rule here is who ever called is suppose to call back. However, its really hard to follow. Pet Peeve #6 is cell phones that drop calls. OK i am done ranting because i want to hear you guys rant……

I am truly sorry that i have not been updating this site. I always find myself on a plane writing or in my bed at night with a pen and pad but i never transfer any of it here. I need to practice on my typing, which is just so so. I have been busy filming Wipeout and working on a few projects of my own. I am still doing the Mercury commercials …. ( lots of people always that). I have been traveling a lot here lately. Pilot is lovely as always. He has a girlfriend now. He growls at her but i am convinced he loves her. Life in general is pretty good and again i can say that i am very thankful for that. I have taken up an old hobby of mine again…. painting. I can remember going to my grandmas house and that is all i would ever do is paint. It makes my world calm down for the time i hold the brush and it always puts me in a good mood. Maybe i will share some of the pictures of my art on here….. just don’t laugh !!! Ok, enough typing….. goodnight friends.

NYC

I am taking off to NYC tomorrow. I feel like a kid at christmas…… umm….. wait…… anyway, I am excited to say the least. NYC at christmas time is one of the most magical places in the world. I took my grandmother there for her first visit last New Years and she fell in love with the city. As crazy as it may seem, that trip with my grandmother was my best trip to NYC to date. Her first time in the city, her first high tea, her first broadway show, and she is 80 years old! It’s something I will never forget and now I feel the need to say thank you to the wonderful city of New York for giving me those memories of my grandmother.

As i sit here at my computer i find myself being thankful for the simple fact that i am sitting here at my computer. Just to be in the moment that i am in right now is enough. I am home , with my dog , fire in the fireplace, music (ani difranco OVERLAP), eating a frozen pizza and i couldn’t think of anywhere in the world i would rather be than HOME.

I just thought i would list some of the things that i am thankful for, here goes
my family and friends, my health, chocolate ice cream , Pilot (meanest dog in the world) Wagner, Flowers, Good music, the people that are talented enough to create good music, soap, bubble gum, my memory, INTERNET, my upbringing, my grandma’s salmon and cabbage,christmas lights(not the year round ones) the sun, laughter, turkey (wink wink), smiles, honest and caring people, that i have a career i love, that i have people who love me, for all of the people who support what i do (and you don’t even know me…. thats pretty amazing) Thank you!!!!!!!
